AOS FRE & EAD

We received a letter from USCIS saying that out petition for AOS I-485 has been placed on hold until we send some additional paperwork. On uscis.gov it says "case placed on hold" but on the I-765 EAD it says "case recieved and penging".

Does anyone know if both cases are stoped from processing? I mean the EAD is based on the AOS. Should we excpect the Work authorization soon or should we wait until the I-485 is back in pending mode?

do you happen to know what other papers we still need to fill out, coz the one i have here is ;

1.I-864 affidavit of support

2.G-325a biographic information

3. I-485 application to register permanent residence of adjust status

4. medical reports

do you happen to know what else should i need to submit?

most likely your i-765 has been postponed until you send in your reply to rfe.

Yes, your EAD is placed on hold until they receive the necessary documents for I-485. That will postpone your case by about 2 weeks.

Since applications like AP and EAD are based on your AOS, they automatically stop processing them until processing resumes on your i-485.
