Do they ask alot of questions about income? Do I need to bring a new employment verification letter and recent check stubs? Is a bank account and a credit card in mine and my wife's name along with photos enough proof of marriage? The NOA did not ask us to bring many documents but should we bring more paperwork than asked for? Thank you.

Bring everything you can. Every little piece of evidence is important. Better bring more than not enough. All we had to prove our relationship was:

- a joint bank statement;

- my husband`s IRA statement with me as a beneficiary;

- pictures;

- a couple of affidavits from relatives.

That was enough. We were not even asked for photos. Get an affidavit or 2 from people who know you both. It`s always helpful. Do you have any cards or letters sent to both of you?

They might or might not ask about your income. If you don`t get any RFEs about your income, then you shouldn`t worry about smth going wrong at the interview.

I didn't bring employment letters for my husband and I but they asked us at the interview. Thankfully we brought our tax returns from last year cuz they asked for that. Bring as much as you could is all i can say! Good luck!

If you submitted an employment verification letter initially, take a copy along with your tax papers and maybe last two months pay stubs. That was what I took along with the other evidence but I was not even asked to show them. However, better to have it with you than not if they ask for it. Good luck!!
