Ok everyone, Arab World Fest is upon us soon. August 7, 8, and 9th in Milwaukee at the Summerfest grounds.

Our plan is to go on that Saturday and hopefully we will get a number of people to meet up with us. Star dragon and her husband plan on meeting at my house (and whoever else) and I will pack my van full to go to Milwaukee!

There is lots of food, music, hookah to be enjoyed. Camel rides are there. They have belly dance lessons, henna, and games for kids.

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Wow, this is great. I didn't know they had this festival. I am in Indiana and would love to attend, but it looks as though I will have to wait until next year. Are there other festivals besides this one?

Man I wish I could have gone...so far away. Hopefully Aziz and I can attend next year that would be a great experience. Just checked out the website. They have great things planned and even volunteer opportunities.

There are so many hotels in the area, but why stay at a hotel, we have a nice day bed you could sleep on and your son well we have a very comfy couch. My house is open. We don't live far from Milwaukee, and I wouldn't mind if you wanted to stay here and then i could drive up to Milwaukee! Just let me know!

There are so many hotels in the area, but why stay at a hotel, we have a nice day bed you could sleep on and your son well we have a very comfy couch. My house is open. We don't live far from Milwaukee, and I wouldn't mind if you wanted to stay here and then i could drive up to Milwaukee! Just let me know!
