Hello Everyone! As what was stated above, i have found myself dumbfounded all of a sudden while filling out the DS Forms. The reason why i said that is because this is not the 1st time il be filling out this form ( Ive applied for a Tourist Visa before- not ddnt have a hard time answering all the questions)Now that im applyin for a totally diff visa (K1) i have found some of the questions challenging all of a sudden. (Funny,i know!)

DS 156

Question # 26. How long do you intend to stay in the US?

# 27. Whats the purpose of your trip?

# 32. Do you intend to work in the US? (Ofcourse! - but should i say yes as early as now?)

# 36. Has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf? --> The reason why im asking this is i dunno if the k1 is considered an immigrant visa?

DS 157

Question # 18. Have you made specific travel arrangements? Yes or No. --> What if my Fiance has bookmarked a flight for me already prior to the visa appointment? Meaning the flight is flexible. If i tick the Yes box, would this be a red flag with our application?

Thanks everyone in advance! :)

DS 156

Question # 26. How long do you intend to stay in the US?

[/color]As a wife to Greg Preston, forever!

# 27. Whats the purpose of your trip?

To marry Greg Preston!

# 32. Do you intend to work in the US? (Of course! - but should i say yes as early as now?)

Eventually yes!

# 36. Has anyone ever filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf? --> The reason why im asking this is i dunno if the k1 is considered an immigrant visa?

Yes. Your Fiance, the petitioner that is K1 visa although non-immigrant in nature, is processed in the same manner as immigrant visas are.

DS 157

Question # 18. Have you made specific travel arrangements? Yes or No. --> What if my Fiance has bookmarked a flight for me already prior to the visa appointment? Meaning the flight is flexible. If i tick the Yes box, would this be a red flag with our application?

YES! I am leaving in November for New York on Northwest Airlines!

In your case however, NO. That inquiry demands SPECIFIC TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS. That ultimately means, a ticket in your hands.

Thanks everyone in advance! :)
