Omg that reminds me of when I was a kid!!

In school, I told a teacher I wanted to dance for money. But I didn't mean THAT!

I was in dance classes from 3 on up to my tween years and all I meant was that I wanted to get paid to do something I had loved to do at the time.

Donne moi une poptart!

Ever make it to Victoria BC, head over to Monty's!! Nice place!! They are EXTREMELY high on personal hygiene--they provide a shower on stage for the girls!! Thats just crazy, those super high hygiene standards, lol But seriously, it is a classy place, not like some of the sleazy clubs, which have their place, lol Or head over to Vancouver and check out No. 5 Orange!! Lots of TV's to watch sports!! lol The good old navy days, lol

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Or as R.Kelly once sang, "I'm in love with a stripperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

OMG, that made me LOL. They call it the bird bath. lol

So.... stripper story!! My Grandmother from England came for a visit and my Aunt and Uncle and cousins took her to a strip bar "for a drink". (This was Vancouver.) So they're sitting there having their beer and a girl came onstage and started doing her act. Well, my Grandmother does a double-take, her mouth drops open, and then she leapt up and yelled "SHE'S TAKING HER CLOTHES OFF!!!!!!!"

Poor Nanny.

My cousins took me to the same place. I think it was called College Bar or something to that effect. I saw some pretty amazing things. Some involved ping pong balls and a swing. One server almost got smacked in the head as he was going by! OMG. So this one girl came and sat down next to me..... she had just gotten off the stage and I guess I looked like the friendly type. So she was telling me about her act and some other things that she could do and she was really really proud of herself. I was like "Really? Wow. That's amazing." And other such rubbish. My boyfriend was like "Don't talk to her!"

Good times.

I once asked this a long time ago, but... how do Canadians tip strippers? In the U.S., you generally walk up to the stripper dancing on stage and give her a few bucks. Sometimes she lets you stuff the cash into panties and other times you can just toss it onto the stage.

The problem I see with Canadian cash is that there are $1 and $2 coins. So what do Canadians do? Do you fling loonies at her? Maybe part of her routine is avoiding a barrage of coins? :P
