I agree with Sapphire. I have no issues with my man going to a strip club for a party or just as a guys night out. He's not really big into the strip clubs anyway but he knows he can go and I will never get mad. I'm the same way about porn though as well. I don't feel I can get mad at him for doing things or looking at things that I do too  Yes people, I enjoy porn....>LOL

Personally, living in Montreal most of my life, I have been to almost every strip club here in town (to see guys and girls strip) and most of the time it was with guy friends to watch the ladies strip. I used to have a blast going with my guy friends and watching the ladies. And yes, the scummy places were not fun but watching the girls at super classy joints was awesome.

And just to say as a side note, I have friends who have been or are strippers. And by strippers I mean dancers not prostitutes. And they were/ are not on drugs or whores...they just felt/feel that it was a way to make easy money for their education. I don't judge them for their choice to do it, in fact I have even gone to watch them dance and cheered them on.

My husband is going to Atlantic City next weekend with his buddies for a Bachelor party and I honestly don't have any pangs of jealously or think it's immoral or degrading.

He's going to go and have fun and come home to me and that's all that matters. He knows his limits and I trust him.

My husband was at Harrah's in AC where all the debacle took place.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I know he wouldn't like it if I did that and tbh I haven't any desire to watch some oiled up male stripper slinging his junk around. I certainly don't have money to blow by sticking it in his sweaty crotch either. UGH.

This made me laugh like a monkey!

Slinging his junk around, indeed!!!

Burlesque shows are kind of fun, they're more cheeky, tongue in cheek sort of thing -- not serious full-on raunch, just light hearted teasing with sense of humour and some sex appeal.

:)

PS, having lived in Montreal for a lot of my life, sex clubs and such are pretty par for the course, really.... nothing to see here, move along! And frankly? T'aint nothing wrong with a little fun play between a couple -- naked pictures and movies don't bother me none at all....

Course I have to be in them, duh!

;)

Bein oui! Tabernak!

Club Supersex....

God, that place was a hoot. Went there once with some of my girlfriends just to have a look. Holy expensive drinks. Do they still have the buffet?

Now that is a place that needs a sneeze guard on a buffet if you know what I mean!

i agree. they should take time off during that week. a string sticking out of the g-string sure ruins the dance. :protest:

Not for the squeamish:

I was told that they stick them inside. (Because I was curious and asked the question.) Makes you think twice, though, doesn't it?

Strippers and strip clubs never bothered me before. Spent alot of time in Montreal with male friends and we would go and hang out with them in a club. It was entertaining and some girls could put on a good show. I've been to the notorious Supersex and and few others on the strip as well as Solid Gold - that one was interesting with their lesbian act.... can say it's really something I don't care to see again. As for male strippers I have been to a few shows. It's entertaining if they are good dancers and put on a good show but if they are just strutting around with their "big" dong hanging out I have no interest.

Now, however, I will admit it does bother me when my husband does go to stippers. It's not so much about him hanging out with his buddies and watching naked women but when they start buying lap dances for each other. That's where I have a real problem. There is no need for a scanky women to be rubbing her slimmy "parts" on my husband. I think they partly do it to see if the can get their buddies in trouble with their wives/gf.

As for the "they are just college girls putting themselves thru school or single moms suppoting their kids" Thats a bunch of #######. The majority are either supporting their drug habit with fast money and material possessions they can get. And what about those girls that are brought over from other countries and are basically being exploited with false promises. So that really bothers me when men say that they are just helping out the ladies get thru school/feed their kids and they needto think that the girl up there has been forced into it or that dollar bill they stick whereever is going to be rolled up to snort their next line on coke.

My wife (ex) never had an issue if I ever wanted to go. She even joked about us both going sometime to a strip club. She didn't care if I went out with friends there at all either. I personally have never liked them though so I never went. I've been to a few in my life (younger years were my friends would always want to go). I just never got the entire idea of it at all where I'm watching some diseased girl dancing around. I guess it just never did anything for me and I'd rather spend my time at a bar or club then a strip place anyways where I could actually meet a girl rather then a place where I only see one dance...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

I think they partly do it to see if the can get their buddies in trouble with their wives/gf.

This is stupid to me, you know? Men always want their friends to stay single and enjoy the single life, even after they are married. It's some weird comradeship. I will say that my husbands friends are my friends though and they've never done this to me.

But I know it exists and it's out there. Women don't to this to their women friends.

It's that whole, "Me mate with 500 woman" caveman thing. I know men weren't biologically built to only be with one woman. (Well, I'm a neo-darwinist so...) haha

But you get my drift. I understand many men have the urge to look at other woman, even if they are married. But it's the encouragement they get from their friends that's sad.
