Oregon State Tax Refund...

Okays, so my husband and I thought we were super-efficient and had our federal and my Oregon State tax returns done within days of recieving the W2 thingy...no problem with the feds - they paid up :D

Oregon on the other hand, have been quibbling about my $314 since day one...do you think I can get a refund out of these people? It is now July, and they admit they recieved my refund information back in February, it has been sitting in manual review since March, and I can't get anyone to help me!!

I've spoken to numerous customer service agents, and the supervisor, and I have remained calm and pleasant all the time. No one has told me that we screwed up and I don't have this money coming back to me, but on the other hand, no one can tell me why its July and its still not sorted.

I guess I'm just looking for some advice as to who I can go to outside of the Oregon Tax system to get some help on this...I'm just getting fed up with these incompetent morons - even USCIS didn't cause me this much hassle! Either tell me I screwed up and there is no refund or give me my $314!! :ranting:

Be nice now, or you won't get your kicker refund either. ;)

Have you looked at the Dept of Revenue website to see who you can contact up the food chain?

Same happened to us.

I had my Federal return months before Oregon State return.

We were in "manual review" as well.....VERY frustrating, but when I finally gave up and quit waiting for it, it FINALLY came, of course......LOL

Good luck!!
