Donna...I am thankful you are home. Take care of yourself!

Melly....Happy birthday chica!! Thanks for asking about my son. He is doing great and is taking it like a soldier. He will be with his father for the next week so I will miss him terribly!

Oh Nagi...I pray that something opens up with the insurance or the surgeon has an opening sooner.

To the rest of my MENA peeps..sending lots of love!

I saw an inspirational movie last night and it is still affecting me. "My Sister's Keeper". I haven't cried at a movie like that before in my life. It really makes you thankful for your blessings.

Thanks to all the 40+ ers for the reassurance.

It's funny, I thought I would be freaked out by turning 30 but wasn't at all. And I loved my 30's much more than my 20's. Insha'Allah the 40's will be even better than the 30's.

:D

Living with hubby in Egypt, at last.

Like the other day he said something and i told him STICK IT IN YOUR EAR......he had a quite startled look on his face wondering im sure why i ask him to stick the part of the tomato i had just cut off  then we had to go thru the meanings and the ways it could be repeated and included the STICK IT WHERE THE SUN DONT SHINE.... i could hear him in the kitchen later saying over and over to himself (stuck in the ear, stuck in the ear)

 We had a tutorial last night and it was hysterical!!! I taught him the following:

nosey nelly

chatty cathy

good luck to you and the Red Sox

apple of your eye

tickle the ivorys

baker's dozen

peeping tom

I also told him that we grew up thinking eskimo's kiss by rubbing their noses together. OMG he kept trying to rub my nose nad then cracked up laughing so hard!:rofl::rofl:

That is funny! I was doing the Eskimo kisses with Malek one day and my husband kept looking at me like I had lost my mind until I explained that we would say this when I was growing up and my mom did it with me. He is almost done with his Pronunciation, Listening and Speaking ESL class. Let me tell you he is about to kill me with the proper terms for words that he uses. I have told him over and over again, speak like that, nobody will understand you. I love it when you get to teach them silly stuff like you did.

N8tive joke time.

What do Eskimos get from sitting on the ice too long?

Polaroids.

What do Eskimos get from rubbing noses too many times?

Sniffilis.

Cute Nagi!!

Maureen...I have no idea but the date format was kind of like the date formats they use sometimes overseas. I think my husband set it but the last one was taken 7/11/09. Our camera is a piece of ####### and actually will not work at all right now :(
