Just got off the phone with the USCIS. They said that once the RFE's are recieved, and if they find the case doesn't require any further review, then they will forward the case directly to the Consulate. This is a good thing, eliminating the NVC step. Can anyone confirm?

Would that work only for the recalled cases?

I wouldn´t think so, but they say NVC´s job is to assign a case number, which we already have...

Any other info you got?

:)

I think USCIS doesn´t have jurisdiction to mail stuff directly to the consulate, so maybe that´s just a recalled case scenario.

Ok thanks, I see your about a month ahead of me, was your fiancee's interview cancelled becuase of IBMRA RFE's?

The interview was cancelled because of the IMBRA. I don't think at that time they even knew what or how they were goiing to bring everybodys' applications into compliance.
