It was going to be the ROSETTA STONE of Visa Journey, and would have been the only post anyone would have ever needed to read for any immigration and/or yogurt-related issue. By locking that thread, I expect Krikit probably destroyed about 178,432 relationships with just the push of a button. Okies anyway I'm off to buy more cough syrup.

The thread Krikit recently closed had degenerated from information about what action the individual could pursue after his wife left him to a racial mud-slinging fest with a variety of different cultures being targeted. Her decision was definitely the correct one. If the OP wished to gain further information about his particular situation, he is welcome to ask his question again.

Hmm. Dammit, I forgot about that thread. But y'know, it used to be that as long as the language and dialogue wasn't getting too out of control (and this thread was far from being out of control), these kinds of threads were left to fizzle out on their own. The so-called Racist remarks (and I say so-called because I don't think it was so much racist as just stupid and ill-informed) were being countered nicely. The membership were doing a pretty good job of policing themselves, and I think within a couple pages it would have died out on its own. I just think it's really important that discussions like this happen from time-to-time, and even though it was OT from the original post, it's pretty obvious that the OP was either a troll or had abandoned the post.

Anyway, thanks for posting the link, I'd forgotten about it. I'll now slink back over to the Pitcairn Islands regional sub-forum. Oh wait. THERE IS NO PITCAIRN ISLANDS REGIONAL SUB-FORUM!!!! *ahem* Ewok, you promised!!!
