administrative process -AP

90% of the male who go thru US embassy in Cairo for immigration Visa they go thru administrative process AP even if you have all the document and every thing right you still have big percentage to get it at the same time about 10% of the female get the AP is any one have any Idea why is that . and is different from country to country like for example if you in Pakistan male or female you have big chance to get back ground check at USCIS then you come to NVC and you will get AP same think for male who come from Nigeria or Afghanistan . Any one have any Idea how they select the people for AP when you have all the documents corrects.

I guess after they get your fingerprints and check on your name at the interview level .they put you under AP if your name got'' hits'' which means one or more of your names is the same to someone on their list or on the terrorist list .....so they put you under AP to make sure its not you .

yes this is true i had my interview last june 24th and my wife was with me and everything was ok but they put us into AP dunno why but thats the regular and i told them that you been famous with ap all she did gave me a smile lol keep faith on and who know where is the best and for sure god knows better Good luck all

i guess they put you in the AP because your name is mohamed lol is that true ?? mine is too but they will figure out how innocent you are at last and you will have your visa in hand soon isA

So what about if the wife in Cairo does it make any different for male or female for the AP?

This the same thing when you go thru US airport and you have Muslim name the first thing they

say to you sir your name come up for random security check.

Even if all the documents are complete and without errors the CO/VO will issue AP depending on the applicants schooling/education, job, verification of documents for accuracy or validity. AP can also play a part in the determination of the relationship. AP is a blanket term that is used when the visa cannot be issued immediately and is used to describe when the applicant is waiting on name and finger print checks too.

yeah they let her in at the first and then the CO asked her to let us alone for awhile to interview me , then i did my interview and she told me you can call your wife now so she came and the CO asked me to leave them alone and then my wife called me and after all she said we need to do some AP and hand me the passport and a white paper marked on AP&passport , thats it till now except when we called the DOS they told us our case still at the embassy and have no info and should contact the embassy and we did and the sweet answer we all knows is PENDING , thanks for your wish and hope everybody get reunion soon Inshaallah

i did not get what you mean but you didn`t do any step to any window without see your # on the screen and the interview in Cairo is the last step of 4 steps which is

1- having a # when you first get to the embassy

2- calling your # to pick the originals you sent to NVC and hand passport and 2 pic`s

3- electronic fingerprint scanning your finger, left one first ,then right , and then both thumbs

4- interview
