Is there a Temporary EAD available

My husband was offered a great job , however his 1-94 ran out on the 1st Feb 2006 the same day as he received his offer letter , we have an appointment on Wednesday 15th Feb to see if they will issue a temporary visa , while he waits for the one year EAD , is this posible ?

Just a hunch, they will not provide you with an EAD until you have waited the full 90 days. We went to the Tampa Infopass appointment this morning for this reason and my husband now has to wait for them to generate an appointment to take the biometrics onsite (should be next week).

I am not sure what they can do in your case because they are still processing your paperwork and you are not past the 90 day mark.

As previously mentioned, temp EAD's are available only to people who have been waiting more than 90 days since their original application was received by the lockbox. If you have been waiting less than 90 days you won't have much luck asking for the temp EAD at your infopass appointment.

Is there any chance that the company wanting to employ your husband would wait until he has either a temp EAD or the actual one ??

Infopass is worth a try, but I would not set your hopes too high. In fact, set them very low. But each office has been so inconsistent, you may luck out.
