Waleed wrote me from work and he says he isn't feeling well possibly due to exhaustion so he's going to try to sleep a lot today. Which means I'm going to sleep a lot too.

I try to sleep as much as I can during the day. It's a way to beat the heat.

Ooooooh, I forgot ... you have A/C.

We don't. Instead we have a little tiny box fan that I carry from room to room in the flat. If I didn't have that, I would curl up and die!

Plan to go to the Ann Arbor Art Fair today. They close down the whole downtown area for art. It is so much fun to go and see all the people...and drool over the art I can't afford. Some good music acts as well.

Mornin all. Its our weekend. George's brother in law is here til tomorrow from Jeddah--where he has been working. So im sure we will be over there til all hours of the night---rolling my eyes----thank God for my twilight books to accomany me.

Morning everyone! I am super tired this morning. Last night was the last night of vacation bible school & they gave the kids water balloons to throw at each other...somehow it turned into a huge water fight involving the adults...we were soaked to the bone. On top of that, I had just brought clothes for my daughter to change into not thinking that my hubby and I would be involved in the action...I was wrong! It was a good time, but of course I have to get up at 5 am everyday to drive an hour to work so....I need some coffee!!!

I have to do branch visits with upper management today like an hour and a half from my house!!! BLAAA the interstate is going to be a mess.

I have plans to call off tomorrow and use a PTO, unless I can think of a good reason not to, which isnt likely to happen lol I want to make my 2 day weekend a 3 day!! Me and Hubsters 4 year wedding anniversary is Sunday so we will be busy all weekend

Today is court again. It is sentencing day. Pray the judge does the right thing. The maximum sentence in Illinois is 14 years. I hope he gets all 14.

The mans previous charges: In 2004 he was arrested for DUI-driving on a suspended license and speeding. Pleaded guilty and paid fines. He was arrested again in 2005 for improper lane usage and speeding. Pleaded guilty and paid fines.

Then in 2008 ~~his current charges are

Aggravated DUI with death

Aggravated DUI with bodily harm

Reckless Homicide DUI

I don't know. Carrefour has a Mexican food section (complete with hard shell tacos) so you might want to check there.

Here's one for you, Olivia. I was so excited because I found a Mexican restaurant out on one of my walks. The next time I saw it my husband was with me, so we went inside to check it out. There was NOTHING Mexican about the place but the name. I was so disappointed.

Olivia, it's not that hard to make tortillas, and chips are nothing but sliced up and fried tortillas. Maybe you could give that a try if you don't have any luck at a western-ish type of food place.
