I just wanted to share the good news, my boyfriend got the visa last week 6/26/06 in Ciudad Juarez. :dance::dance:

He said he didnt have any problems they only asked him how we met, where did we meet, what was I doing in Mexico when we met, what do i do for living, where do i work and i think thats it.

He woke up at 4.30am and went to the consulate to make line and I woke up a little later and reached him at 6.00am, they opened the doors at 7am and he got in at 7.30am but got out until 2.25pm, the whole time I waited for him across the street in a restaurant called La Fondita. About 12.pm I went to the hotel (Plaza Consulado, its all right, not that fancy but its cheap and close by clinics and consulate) to pack our stuff and put it in the car cause the room was due at 2pm. Then I went back to keep waiting, finally after 2.30 I saw him coming up and kind of asked him from where I was, he just smiled and tried to give me that look, like if he hadn’t get it, but when I got closer he just said: I got it! And I kissed him…

For all those going through Cd. Juarez in the future, I would note that it is not necessary to line up that early (unless of course you enjoy waking up before 5 a.m.). Your case confirmed by belief that fiancee visas are all processed the same day, regardless of when you get in. we woke up about 7 and wandered over to the Consulate, and my fiancee was still out by 12:30, but the important part is that you got it :D
