:crying: I am so sick of waiting. I check my mail, email, USCIS website, Igor's list and Visa journey like a maniac. I go through all of these multiple times a day. Is this wait really suppose to be this hard :(

there will come a day when you will think back on that and laugh.

It took us 6.5 months to get our NOA2, and we have a cut and dry case. My advice is just to take some deep breaths and try to stay calm. :) If this is the time for change, then the time for immigration reform is now!

i know i really shouldn't rely on the adjudication date on my time line. but it's so hard to ignore it. m trying to keep my cool. *sigh*

I really don't know how that date is calculated, but I think it's complete #######! I stopped checking the timeline, looking at Igor's list, and for a while posting on this site. The focus shifted back to our relationship and how happy we are to have each other. Just when I thought we would never get the approval...here it is! :) Start contacting your congressman and senator when you get close to the 6 month point. Calling USCIS is useless unless you are outside the processing date listed on the website. Which is updated about once a year!

I'm right there with you - driving myself crazy with the checking even though I know it isn't helping anything. My NOA1 was 3/16 and it's killing me watching all of these people who applied around or after I did get approved in the past few weeks, and still nothing for me... Hopefully our time will come soon!

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Can you share with us what the RFE was for? I have noticed a lot of RFE's from March filers and I been curious as to what they are asking for ... I haven't seen anyone post what their RFE was for ... thanks in advance if you are willing to share..

Thank you and God speed and God Bless.

My NOA1 is 3/16 also so i am biting my nails. My buddy who mailed his app 4 days befor me is waiting for his app to arrive at the embassy so he can schedule his interview (luck *bleep*). I have gone back to spending 3 to 4 hours a day online with my girl to (*honestly* sometimes more  ) but that time together has really helped me with the waiting. I believe we all know your pain and some are experiencing worse so hang in there and take some more time to ca  tch up with your better half.

I think most of us go through it.

This process strikes me as similar to childbirth (not that I've had children): It's painful while going through it, but in the end, it's worth it & you forget most of the pain.

hahah! that's a very interesting analogy. well i hope this baby doesn't take 9 months.

Getting an RFE isn't always a bad thing, it 'usually' means that your case is near completion they tend to send NOA1 and then your file is stored until it is time to adjudicate it, so the fact you got an RFE hopefully means that you will be adjudicate and approved very soon!.

Thankfully, I'll never have to worry personally about giving birth... but I hear that it's much like passing a watermelon through your nostril.

Waiting on the K-1 petition IS difficult, si man, and it nearly drove me cuckoo. Do whatever it takes to distract yourself in a positive way (violent exercise, cheating at cards, pulling the legs off ants & putting them in water & watching them sink, or other productive societal avenues), and the wait will end. Study the next steps in the process (consular interview, first) and prepare yourself. You can do it, si man.

For proof I used 3 or 4 reciepts for flower deliveries, a few emails, copies of IM chats. (You can turn the Archive function on in Yahoo Messenger to save them). I also printed out call histories from my computer to her cell phone. The rest is obvious. plane tickets, photos, passport stamps, and finanacial reciepts. )

OH.......She was approved yesterday @ Manila. We will marry on August 21st. exactly 4 years to the date we first met online.

Comments : She recived the first notice from Manila on Valentines day. Perfect timing.

The first setback came during the medical. Naty had to do the 3 day sputum and then we waited 2 months for the results. YESSSS>came back negative

Went for her interview on July 16th and received her Pink Slip......Finally. Paid the AIR21 and I expect her here August 10th, 2009. Marriage will be August 21st, exactly 4 years to the day that we first met.

Ditto to that..as I do the same. Just stay positive, and since your almost there maybe you should give it a rest for a day or two as far as checking. Think of it this way all of sudden you check your email and it will be a wonderful surprise you got approved :). The thing is the closer you get the more anxious you get. Just don't worry and stay positive.

that is exactly what i should do! but i can't!! *sigh* wooosa.

Hopefully you get your NOA2 soon. Looks like you're in the estimated time. :) I'm guessing ours will come on August 31st, which would also be the same day my fiancee and I initially met. I know once that time comes, I'll be thinking every minute about getting the NOA2.

isn't that something. i really hope you get it soon.

You have a long way to go shivali so hang in there :)
