I am sorry this is so hard but some people's journeys just are harder than others. I know a member who is still waiting for NOA2 for 1 and half years at CSC. It is ridiculus. I suggest you call again to USCIS, even though it won't expediate things, it keeps your file on top.

God bless,

Tam

:crying: I am so sick of waiting. I check my mail, email, USCIS website, Igor's list and Visa journey like a maniac. I go through all of these multiple times a day. Is this wait really suppose to be this hard :(

just take it easy. when ever you have an attack, or an ache, or an itch... log on to VJ and read other peoples timelines. Its taken me 7+ months to get to NAO2.

btw, don't try to hurry up and get to US - life here isn't like how its 'back home'. prepare your self by taking english classes, driving classes, computers, etc. and keep your self occupied.

Hang in there! Your approval will come. Don't forget that there are people that are still waiting and have waited much longer than you. There are still people waiting much longer than myself as well. Be patient and take this time to get yourself ready for the next step.

Why are you going crazy when people from your month haven't even started to be approved yet? You will drive yourself crazy if you do what you are doing and you shouldn't. It took 6.5 months for my case to be processed. You need to calm down and tell yourself that it's going to take 6 months. So maybe hope for some news for late September. If it comes earlier it'll be a nice present. If not, you were expecting it to go that way anyway.

actually, a gew people with same noa1 date as me HAVE BEEN APPROVED

I was the same and drove myself bonkers. Really, I know it sucks but when you chill out and realize you only have a few months left at home with your family and friends you start to realize you actually want to cherish the time you have. Its worth waiting for, and once you're there it might be forever. So enjoy yourself at home and create some memories to look back at and laugh during your homesick days :)

wait- sorry. didn't realize that you are the usc! last few months of freedom? lol

That's a huge red flag!!! If he doesn't really want to come to the US chances are that it will cause significant problems in your relationship. Think hard before you take the next step.

we actually have a few things in mind, we are applying for the paperwork so we have 2 options . if it doesn't work out for him here(looking at our economy). i am willing to move back with him. we are going to give it a shot here though.

Hopefully you get your NOA2 soon. Looks like you're in the estimated time. :) I'm guessing ours will come on August 31st, which would also be the same day my fiancee and I initially met. I know once that time comes, I'll be thinking every minute about getting the NOA2.

Wow August?

I am a month behind your NOA 1 and my timeline is saying I should expect December.... what a difference a month makes

That is because you are in the Vermont Service Center. They are 1 to 2 months behind the California Service Center. We are in the same situation. Nothing can be done but wait.

It took us 6.5 months to get our NOA2, and we have a cut and dry case. My advice is just to take some deep breaths and try to stay calm. :) If this is the time for change, then the time for immigration reform is now!

i know i really shouldn't rely on the adjudication date on my time line. but it's so hard to ignore it. m trying to keep my cool. *sigh*

mmm its been my experience that even if it is past six months they will not do anything until they are good and ready, some petitioners are lucky and have aggressive senators and congressmen that are not will to accept the tired reply from them of in security checks and will push them to get it adjudicated but if u dont have an aggressive senator or congressman or a lot of bucks to fight them in court ur sort of stuck
