I have gone through a similar situation as you are facing. My husband is in the UK waiting for our visa--we have been waiting for 8 1/2 months!!! He did travel here on VWP 3 times. He brought a ton of evidence that he is going to return to UK though--so make sure your husband does that. They told him the last time he came in that he has travelled too much on the VWP so he cannot come back until he has a visa. But, in our case, they let him in and he was here for the birth of our daughter---good luck with everything....

Contrary to other postings, it is very possible to get expidited due to pregancy, I know, I was able to get my wife here prolly a whole 2-3 months early and I am not military. BUT your situation is different, your the USC so it may fall under a different catagory but hey it's worth a try, As I say "your the only one it hurts to never try". I do not think you can get expidited at the USCIS level though but I am not sure about this as I tried at the NVC level and was approved.

That was fast!

Got to love the fact my wife was preggy and even with a RFE @ NVC she was still here in under 5 months!

Expediting probably won't work in your case. Your husband can visit, but with a pregnant wife in the United States he will have to show VERY strong ties to the UK at the POE - things like a lease, a job letter with an intended return date, etc.

Good luck

Your mum can help for the papers but the process is all yours

don't wait to kick it asap

whatever is your choice.

DCF you could try to plea (? double check)

My husband chose K3 because it could be expedited. not sure it slowed us because VSC is so chaotic.

You can't tell whether it is quicker or not vs I130 because VSC is so chaotic. K3 is quicker at NVC.

With K3 when in the US you are not done with USCIS and have to do it again for green card

We went K3 and now are heading for I130 at NVC dropping K3.

your husband can travel under visa waiver

with good documentation of tighs with the UK : house, job etc... should be no problem

I always have it in case. So far have not needed to show. IT is enough to tell I have a job in France.

It is preferable he does not quit his job though until he has visa on hand

I am not sure about the too much travelling under VWF

Maybe there is a technical limit like 6 months/year - you may ask

But you probably get suspicion of high tighs with US and no tighs abroad before you hit it.

I have travelled 45 times to the US for business or Tourism. Currently on holidays here.

Note: another solution if you really want your mum, bring it to UK!

Good luck and congratulations
