Hi All! We have received our first NOA's for everything filed recently. The dates on the NOA's were all July 8th. I wanted to see if I could check and see our case online but none of the four receipt numbers (one each for I-130, I-485, I-765 & I-131) pull up anything, it's as though they are not valid numbers. I even called the toll-free number and tried two of the receipt numbers and it said there was nothing on file for those numbers. Each of these receipt numbers starts with an MSC followed by 10 digits.

So, is there some sort of delay between getting an NOA and being able to see something online about it? Thank you!

Don't waste your time with the online system. Wait for the NOAs or RFEs in the mail and pretend the online system doesn't exist. It is simply not a reliable indicator of your case progress/status.

They were doing some kind of "scheduled maintenance" yesterday until 1 am. After that, I was able to pull up our case with the receipt numbers, at any rate (notices dated July 10). Maybe you'll have better luck now? I hear the online system is usually not up to date anyway, though.
