and in the box where it says how u met in the past 2 years I just wrote that He came to visit me May 5, 2009 to June 2, 2009 at my residence. Im reading in the guild on the cover letter I should have a letter included stating how we met. Im wondering if this is necessary? I dont know if the application is supposed to be cut and dry? Seems so formal I dont know im just nervous about sending it and i want to make sure Im doing it right. I did print off some emails like four from the last 6 months and I printed off some calling history but we mostly use skype or ventrillo to talk as its free . UGH

Wait until you have a better understanding of the process and what is required before you start.. It is painful enough without mistakes... Read through the guides again and the posts already here in the K1 area.

Well in the forms i Just stated how we met I guess im asking should i include a letter with details or should what i orignaly wrote on the k129f pettion suffice. I do realize this is just the pettition not the supporting evidence for the interview..which seems thats where we need to have emails and proof..I guess im asking do i need to embellish this? And i have read a lot of the posts and searched and I am going directly off the guides on how to set this up. I have everything already in line and order I am just wondering if I should include an aditional letter explaining how we met. As I see the pettion is just to get an interview in which at that time we must prove we are a couple not at the outset of our pettition.

The more you provide up front the better... The expaination of relationship will likely be called into question if it starts by saying he came to visit you.. they want to know how you met... the circumstances...

Don't "embellish" anything unless you want to run the risk of a ban on entrance into the United States and, in the absolute worst case scenario, a stint in a federal prison. The government does not look lightly upon visa fraud.

Just stating he came here recently should be fine, the form asks whether or not you have met in the past two years. That being said adding a letter explaining how you met and subsequent visits would be advisable to have all information in order. We just stated when last met and when we orgionally met and how, that is all. Good luck!
