Thanks! I think we'll be fine too... but still of course have the nerves! I have prepared 3 manila folders with stuff. 1. Has our personal stuff like original birth certificates, my divorce decree, W-2's etc... 2. Has all the USCIS papers we got and our "proof of intent" just in case they ask for it! 3. Has all of our backup... I managed to get: joint bank account, joint car insurance, joint health insurance, copy of our lease, and a few cards we got for our wedding and a post card that his family sent to us from Denmark.

I also did something neat with the pictures... I went to Target and they have this option of printing pictures in a "collage".... so I had 4 pictures printed up on one 4 x 6 sheet that I can give them. They were only .95 cents a sheet. So, I did 3 sheets... so that's 12 pictures they can keep. I also put together a photo album that has the regular prints and a lot more than 12.

I hope I have everything I need... I just keep thinking I've forgot something.

We had I-485 Interview this morning, and got approved !!

It was really really easy experience.

09/01/09 Interview in Los Angeles - APPROVED! Yay! Card production ordered

09/05/09 EAD received

09/12/09 Green card received in the mail!

Start to Finish only 76 days!

06/06/11 Mailed I-751 Package to California USCIS

06/09/11 First NOA for I-751

08/05/11 Biometrics appointment at USCIS Oxnard, CA office

10/19/11 Received email and text that card production was ordered

10/20/11 Received email and text that application had been approved

10/25/11 Received NOA in mail regarding approval and card production ordered

10/26/11 Received Green Card in the mail!

Start to Finish 142 days!

09/19/09 - Welcome to the USA letter received.

09/24/09 - Green Card in Hand

Time from Application receipt to Approval: 76 days.

Remove conditions: 09/2011

Approved!

Interview was very quick, the IO just asked for our IDs, address, dates of birth, social security numbers, asked "who is [our joint sponsor]?"", looked at our joint bank account, utilities, daughter's birth certificate, lease and wedding photo album for moment, and approved us. No stamp in my husband's passport, but the IO said we should get the green card in a week. Good luck to everyone still waiting!

4/23/07 - We are officially a couple. <3

7/17/07 - First meeting in person - Rochester NY (several visits back and forth follow).

12/15/08 - Our daughter, Annika, is born.

4/1/09 - Christian comes to visit on the VWP (5th visit to US, POE is Newark, no hassles).

5/26/09 - We get married! Small wedding, planned in a month, but very nice. :)

Adjustment of Status

7/3/09 -- Mailed I-485,I-130,I-765,I-131, Medical - certified mail

7/6/09 -- Delivery confirmation on USPS website

7/14/09 -- Receipts arrive.

7/16/09 -- Can pull up case with receipt numbers on USCIS website.

7/25/09 -- RFE. Our joint sponsor did not provide proof of citizenship or enough proof of his income.

8/17/09 -- Received AP document.

8/19/09 -- Biometrics appointment.

8/28/09 -- Received EAD card.

9/29/09 -- Interview - APPROVED!!!

10/3/09 -- Welcome letter.

10/9/09 -- Green card in hand!

09/03/09 Completed medical.. all clear!!

09/21/09 Sent off I130, I485, I131, I765.. YAYYYYYY[/color]

09/28/2009 all 4 NOA's printed (received on OCT 1ST)

09/30/09 checks cashed!

10/05/09 receive biometrics appt for 10/28/2009

10/13/09 walk in biometrics.. !

10/26/2009 receive interview letter for NOV 30th 11:30!!!! PRAISE GOD!

11/06/2009 receive advance parole papers.. no email, no updates beforehand..

11/16/2009 After 2 WEEKS of checking the mail thinking the EAD and AP come about the same time, we get the "card production ordered" email for the EAD.. better late than never.. thank you LORD!!!

11/19/2009 receive another email stating "card production ordered"

11/23/2009 receive EAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11/30/2009 bittersweet interview, but WE ARE APPROVED

12/02/09 social security card in mail

12/04/09 receive "welcome" letter in mail

Our journey is finally over. We had a pleasant interview experience conducted by a very courteous and professional lady. Today, ten days after interview, green card arrived in the mail. :dancing:

Filed July 15, had our AoS interview yesterday and it was approved. I have my SSN now and green card should be here soon. I can't believe it took less than 3 months! Now have to build credit... ugh.

not sure if many are still posting see that most of u july filers are already finished w/ this stage..WOOHOO!!!

but i wanted to see if u guys had any thoughts on the biometrics appt..

did u see a significant difference in the time to get the EAD if u walked in vs waiting on the appt???

not sure if there is a july spreadsheet for me to compare??

You can do walk-in if you like, but I dont see that big difference from my timeline.

IO just asked how did we meet, and make sure all informations on the applications are correct.

Stamped my passport and smile.

I did not even open my document folders, he only took a copy of my passport, that was it.

Were you both interviewed separately or joint? Was your interview letter sent in any color? Can you please tell us since some people are saying they are

receiving the letter in purple in which they are likely to be interviewed separately.

It went really well, in and out in 20 minutes.
