hi :). i got married recently on a k-1 visa, and filling out form i-485 it asks for ssn, can i just put 'none' there as it may take a while till i get my ssn and i'd like to send these off soon as.

also, i have my vaccination results from my medical, is that all i need to send in with the aos not to have another medical?

thanks in advance

SSN = NONE if you do not have one

Medical is good for up to one year....

YMMV

Hello,

You don't have to send your vaccination record- you have to go and see a civil surgeon for him to put your vaccination on the I-693 form-

Wait for more precise information from Vjs' posters.

Hi there

I am from the uk also, I just included the vaccination document from the Medical that I had in London, no need to have another medical as long as you apply for aos within a year of the original medical.

Your vaccination record DS3025 is enough if you have met all the immunization requirements for AOS. Just because you got a visa doesn't mean you have all the shots needed for the green card.

If you are lacking any shot (like HPV for women) and get it in the US, then you need to have your DS3025 record and any shots received in the US compiled onto the I-693 form (immunization section) by an approved Civil Surgeon.

Here's the 2009 list of required immunization. You only need the ones appropriate for your age. See the list on p. 2 and read all the footnotes if you want detailed information about a particular shot. http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/PDF/wk/mm5753-Immunization.pdf

Summary

All shots done in UK = send DS3025

Needed shots in US = send I-693 (immunization section filled in) signed and sealed by a Civil Surgeon
