I am in preparation of filing I-130 for my wife and 4 years' old son and hope to get some answers about the filing from you guyes:

1. I know I need to file two separate I-130 forms, but do I need to pay two separate fees, i.e, it is $355 or 710 (355 x 2)?

2. On many forms such as G325A, it requires signature of applicant. Who should sign for my son's G325A since he does not know how to write yet.

3. On I-130, "21. If filing for your husband/wife, give last address at which you lived together". My wife and I got married while I was in US and she is in China. We never have a permanent place to live togehter for more than 4 weeks. She never visited U.S. I rent an house in China for her and my son. I visited them twice a year, each time is about 2 to 3 weeks. How should I fill item 21.

Thank you very much

If the child is your son, does he have a claim to citizenship? Then there would be no visa needed for him.

1) yes

2) by xxxxxxxxxxxxx as parent on behalf of minor child

A step-child needs no G325a so nothing to sign.

Two separate $355 checks. One for each petition.

I would be interested in hearing a reply to #3, since this would also apply to my sitch.

My preference for couples who have not yet resided in the same place, (Visiting doesn't count.) is to write "We have not yet lived together." Your visits are disclosed elsewhere and/or later.
