i don't think it's true that someone's case was completed on 1st of july and got an interview in august . that's not possible ,sorry

The person wasn't going through the embassy in Cairo. For instance, Sham77 had their case competed on 6/30 and was given an August interview in Pakistan.

When it comes to interview dates it's all up to the embassy

I don’t know about Pakistan but Cairo embassy is two busy because there handling Somalia and Sudan that why and I am just guessing so they have to squeeze all those three country s together each month. I did fiend out is no US embassy in Sudan or Somalia that why Cairo taken care of them and I am not sure if this true.

Thanks! I just follow numbers and statistics very well. Making guesses on when people will get their interview is actually quite simple when you know how to work with all the numbers. And if I wanted to put more effort into it I could get even more accurate

I got my NOA2 in early June and still have not got packet 3. I finally got an email sayin I will have it shortly. So, I am hoping to get it send withon a week and have an interview soon. Want Aug. but will take Sept. too. Getting pretty mad about this stuff myself. I have to leave Egypt in Oct or Nov. Would love for my husband to come back with me, but its lookin pretty slim to none.

you have some stuff to do before the packet 3 to be sent to you , you need to get a case number from NVC then to pay the fees ....as soon as you get the case number it will be matter of days to get the packet 3 my DHL from the embassy WHEN you make it all online ....

I am doing the K3. I got my case number already and the NVC packet was just going to do K3 cause it was a little faster needed that time but as you can see its not. So my mistake. Cairo has had our case for 3 weeks now. And I got pretty much everything ready except for his medical. Got to get copies of some papers before I send and print off one. Then I can send it back. But its takin a good sweet while. Just hope to be here for the interview atleast and I will fly back home and wait for him I guess. Makes me pretty angry but I know there is nothing we can do but wait.
