My Husband had interview and got pink slip , does any one knows pink slip is good or bad . they did not ask any other info and said every thing is ok and kept the passport and said they will mail them arround six week

I m not sure, but i think it is good as they kept his passport n told him it will be mailed back.According to my understanding, his visa is approved and no AP.They didnt keep my husband's passport and gave him a green AP letter.

Best of Luck and congrats

You'll need to actually read what the pink slip says. If they told him six weeks though, it sounds like the normal additional AP (administrative processing) after the interview. Don't count on six weeks. Check with others going through Islamabad for their AP experiences.

thanks , Pink slip has some numbers and AMX phone # where they can collect the passport from . but i thought white slip should be good .

So, actually read the pink slip and comprehend what it says. The color isn't enough information. Perhaps the numbers mean something. Details are important in this process.

It sounds good, but I woudl check with some other Paki applicants who were put on AP and see if they kept their PP or not. Usually, keeping the passport is a sign of escaping AP.

Good Luck, you are blessed if you guys didnt get AP since its almost standard for Paki male applicants.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

You were approved but with AP. I hope its closer to one month rather than the three.

hope the time passes soon. congrats
om

Thank you so much....L179 u have the interview tomorrow rite? Well Good Luck.

Omer,

Sounds like you are in AP for security checks !

I must advice you to be patient. They told my fiance 6 weeks on paper and we had to wait SIXTEEN months in AP. Good news is the recent trend shows that ISL has been clearing APs w/in a reasonable time

good lucks,

I am confused by your post. Did they give him any other paper?

Some CO at ISL keep the passport even when in AP others don't. So that doesn't tell anything.

We were in AP for over a yera and were also given a pink token @ the interview

They told us six weeks as well.

I recommend you call DOS by Friday or next week and inquire about your case status and where your case is? They will tell you if it's pending AP or not!

Good lucks.

At ISL,they give the green letter for AP(The paper actually state this BLUE sheet of paper).

Yes the minimum is six weeks for AP and no limit for Maximum :(

Omark ....Yes we were told as well that it will take about 1-3 months and the CO didnt keep my husband's passport but his interview was very short probably bcoz I was with him for his interview.

Anyways LOTS n LOTS of Luck to all........May we all get thru this fast..
