My wife and I were married June 27th, 2009 prior to our 90 days since she entered Minnesota on a K-1 April 2, 2009.

What is the time limit for submitting our AOS?

Also, does anybody know the average wait tmes to receive her EAD and AP? We don't have immediate plans to travel back to Indonesia soon, but we were wondering how many times the AP can be used?

Thanks very much for all of your help VJ friends.

Before you get caught by ICE?

Once your I-94 expires, your out of status. Only the NOA from the AOS freezes your status.

To avoid any issues - file the AOS ASAP.

can take up to 90 days to get the AP/EAD - varies. You can use the AP as many times as you require, as long as it is valid. (usually 1 year)

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
