I sent my RFE back on Friday the 30th and i still haven't heard anything as far as E-mails stating they had received it. So i called them today and was put throught to CSC and was told that they had recieved it and it was in the system...has anyone else in this same situation?

I sent mine on the 30th as well and got my email on 7/7.

Not at all. I am amazed you got someone at CSC to talk to that could see your case and give you information. They recieved our RFE on 7/6 and I just got the email confirming.

YIPPEE YAHOOOO!!!! I just got an online case status update that my RFE had been received July 11 (although they really got it and signed for it July 6). The update has the same bizarro message about how because of earlier processing being completed, the decision should be forthcoming prior to the timeline given (no approval process timeframe was ever given, I just checked both the original NOA1 Mar 6, and NOA2 Mar 31). Have any other recalled petitions received this same message upon IMBRA RFE receipt by the service center?

devilette,

Isn't that the truth!!! I can only hope that they will make up for it, by giving us an NOA-2, like yesterday!!!!

The E-mail that they send to everyone, suggests that all other processing is complete. Can you say NVC overload?

That will be the next hurdle in this debacle.

Hopefully, NVC is ready to process 10,000 approvals!!! Get ready for mass telex messages!!!

Got my RFE received e-mail and touch today, finally...

Wow, and you sent it the 3rd?! Damn, they are slow.

It's getting really hard to come on here, seeing June VT people get approved. I hate that I constantly check the USCIS site as well, just to see no updates. Then on here no one is getting approved or if they do, they are pre-IMBRA or March. At this rate it will take months for me.

Sorry, had to vent. Very very frustrated. :(

I am really, really, REALLY hoping that the "30 days until case adjucated" email that was sent to my senator (Evan Bayh) was correct. That would keep Sian and I on our planned schedule, mostly. We really want an autumn (October 15th was the tenative date) wedding. If we receive our NOA2 within 30 days, then it might still be possible.

Here's hoping that CSC approves a whole assload of I-129Fs very soon.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

ha! Yes, me too! I heard that 30 day deal from my senator as well.

But October is still pushing it, it takes about 3 months to interview once NVC gets it for UK, if you check past interviews....

daaaamn, that's a long time. is that from the embassy receiving the initial file and sending out packet 3? our case was recalled after we sent back our checklist AND on the day my fiance was in london for his medical. do you think it might still be a 3-month wait once the petition is reapproved and returned? (not expecting you to know, of course - just wondering on an opinion ;) )

Have no idea now with the IMBRA business, but if you look at VJ timelines for UK K1s, it seems to be roughly 3 months from NOA2 to interview.
