hey everyone. i am up and about a little today. i am feeling reallllllllly itcccchy!!!! but id rather be itchy then hurting as bad as before.............i hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

June 11 05-Married George, civil ceremony in New York

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Jess, the itchiness means you're healing! Hope you feel better soon!

My friday looks ok. Working until 4:30 today, and then Amed and I get to go sample a bunch of yummy cakes and pick which kind we want! Then we might go with my mom and dad to see Pirates of the Caribbean (it's my mom's bday on Sat).

4/21/06 Arrival in U.S.

5/11/06 Legal Marriage

11/4/06 Wedding

October 11, 2005 NOA2 yeeeaaah we are approved

October 13, 2005 Petition left for NVC, where on our way now

October 14, 2005 Touched Again. I don't get it

October 17, Recieved NOA2 Via Snail mail

October 24, RecievedNVC case #

October 27, Petition Shipped to Embassy

October 31, Embassy received petition

November 1, Embassy called to set up fingerprint appointment

November 4, Fingerprint appointment

November 23, Fingerprint check results came in - Thumbs up

November 30, Fiance picks up packet 3

December 1, Medical exam

December 5, Call embassy to set up interview date

December 5, Pick up medical results

December 28, embassy tells us they screwed up

January 23, Interview date

january 23, Need a waiver 601 and 212

January 31, Turned in Waivers

February 27, Waiver sent to Athens, (Took long enough)

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

This is an example to me of just one of many times that I feel extremely alienated. I really do find this kind of post inappropriate. I am not Muslim, and I have never brought religion into any of my posts because I do feel that it's a personal choice and doesn't belong in an immigration forum. I know many of you are very passionate about your religion, and I accept that and I think that's great but it's not my religion however in this forum it has become part of the daily routine to refer to Allah and the Quran. I guess I'm just the type who likes to keep religion part of my personal life and to not give it presence in this forum which is for support and immigration. I have personally never seen anyone writing Bible verses or praising Jesus here and I would appreciate it if we could leave religion out of this forum as I would feel less alienated each day.I know this will probably not happen it's just something I hoped everyone would think about and not be offended by. Thanks,

April 3, 2010 - Biometrics

May 17,2010 - Citizenship Test - Minneapolis, MN

July 16, 2010- Retest (writing portion)

October 13, 2010 - Oath Ceremony

Journey Complete!

Well I was talking about this forum because it's the one that I am most active in. No matter what religion it is I don't think it's appropriate to advertise it here. So yeah I was talking about this forum specifically as I am not familiar with any others really.
