Hello Everyone,

I am so glad I found this website. I finally have people to relate to loool. I'm in Canada right now waiting for my k3 and my green card to be with my husband in the U.S. It has been over 6 months since our k3 application..sadly.

Well yeah, I don't know what else to say but I'm just in it like the rest of you.

Aww, thank you too :).

Oh don't worry about it. Patience is the key. Patience is light at the end of a tunnel. I'm taking it well :).

I'm amazed when I looked at older threads of people's K3's being approved in like 3 months. I was in shock. That's luck. I wonder why ours is taking so long :(.

May 30 08-Baby Joshua was born

Jan 15-Back to NY we go...

May 10-made decision not to go back overseas.

July 10-filed for divorce

Jan 11-Divorce final

July 11-1st trip to take Josh to see George

Mar 12-2nd trip to take Josh to see George

Welcome, zizi, where are you? My husband is waiting in Toronto. How about doing your timeline and signature? It helps the site calculate statistics on wait times. It also puts you more in touch with other Yank-Canuck couples. The greencard, by the way, doesn't come with a K3. That happens after you get to the States and adjust your status.

Welcome to VJ. Its a very cool site to get most the questions answered. You can also see the progress of the cases that are filed close to your dates. I know the waiting can be very tough but at least you are not that far. Your spouse can visit you as canada is only few hours of flight. I decided to give my wife a surprise visit on the memorial weekend in pakistan. 4 days of flying (inbound and outbound) is no fun..... :) but again this wait can give us some idea to treasure the togetherness with our spouse once they get here. Hopefully that will help all of us to make a strong and ever lasting relation. Regards to all of you out there and have a great weekend. :)
