Hi,

I'm finalizing my file and I have some questions :

- Are you using a highlighter pen to show names, adress in order for them to catch the informations quicker ( with so many documents)?

- Did you put your A# on all documents

- What method did you use to assembly the file ( ACCO fasteners?) ?

I'm working on our now as well.

I plan to highlight names & pertinent info.

I did not put the A# on the documents, I will double check the directions today. Unless they request it, I won't put it.

I haven't decided yet. Probably, just a large binder clipor a 3 ring binder (Its not really recommended, but I used it for K1 & AOS, with no problems)

It does not ASK you to highlight as well

I did highlight names and addresses and dates --- with yellow (other higlighters do not photocopy)

I hole punches on top and used an ACCO fastener and separators in the bottom.

We did the same thing. Since it was all together with ACCO fasterners, we did not put the A-number on every page.

Hi!

I just finished assembling mine and I am just making a copy of the packet.

- I did highlight the main point of each page i.e. both names, address, etc.

- I did put my A# on all documents- I have heard stories about documents getting lost, put in other files, etc. I'd rather be safe than sorry.

- I did use ACCO fasteners and I used dividers to put between each section (but cut off the plastic part). I then used post-it tabs along the bottom to mark my sections.

Snap Jashley820 ~ I did exactly the same.

I divided each section up by year starting from when we got married: 2006 supporting docs -divider- 2007 spporting docs -divider- 2008 supporting docs -divider- 2009 supporting docs.

I highlighted, I added my A# on every single dang page, I included a cover letter & a contents page.

It was a hefty, hefty, hefty package!

But read through other threads on this topic, some people have had success on much less. Just make sure the essentials are in there, I think that's the really important part.

I put my A# also on every single page but did not put highlights on anything (I forgot) and put labels at the bottom and used ACCO fastener.

Oh yes, I also made stickers with my name and A# for each page

Bear in mind that for many highlighters once photo copied they turn the text black rendering it illegible. Personally I wouldn't be highlighting anything.
