I see that folks from both CSC and VSC are getting their I129 F approved ...When will the first post IMBRA K3 be approved...Looks like K3 are getting second -hand treatment :-(

timesnap, take a chill pill and stop trying to predict how the government, in all its wisdom, operates. Don't you have better things to do before your holiday? Everything will evolve and we'll all eventually have a resolution. Relax. Everything will work out for the best.

zizi, the International Marriage Brokers Regulation Act is designed to filter preditors who pay for fiancees (or brides) who meet with abusive treatment once in the States. Yes, K3s who petitioned after March 6 are being asked to supply additional evidence. It's a simple letter. New K3s have an updated form that captures this information.

hi guys,

I agree with Jersey girl. Relax. They sent out the IMBRA RFE's, is that nothing? :hehe: I decided to celebrate that :innocent:. Sure, these are all small steps but better than no steps at all. And considering the fact, that some of us already received their RFE's per mail and returned it (two days ago??), how can you expect that they already work on that? Give them at least a week or two to sort things out. Remember there are only humans working on these cases, no gods.

So try to relax; as Jersey girl said before, things will move on eventually. I really dont think it is a matter of if it is fair or not that K1's are getting approved.

I also have these bad days when nothing seems to make sense and everything is just ###### up. But the next day comes up for sure.

I thought K-1's get approved faster anyways with or without the new IMBRA. If your having trouble see your local sentor representive to get the best way to fill out forms to get them done faster. Just relaz it will all work out soon. :D

Yes, they always have. Thats why a lot of pople go the K1 route its faster.

since we filed K3, it took us 8 months for our approval to arrive..

i know it's not fair but i was thinking of the positive side of it, getting the visa for 2 years without having to file an advance parole..

good luck guys! hope they will speed up soon!
