I am one of many that hit by the slow moving USCIS. My case was forwarded to CSC a year ago. After they sent me the 1 yr extention I haven't heard from them. I made an infopass appointment which is supposed to be scheduled today at our local office. But I received a notice from our local office yesterday for an interview of me and my husband so I cancelled my infopass apointment and go on with the interview which will be on the 23rd of this month( about 2 weeks b4 my 1yr extention expire).

I am glad that they finally touched my case but at the same time I'm disappointed. There are many cases which are way behind mine but they got their approval of their 10yr GC already.

Now, I'm gonna bring originals and photocopies of the documents that they need based on the guidelines of the notice like last 3yrs of ITR's, bills, insurance, leases, etc which are both in joint names. Hopefully I have enough to show them.

We have moved twice, so I will consider the interview delay eventhough I applied for the change of address. I have a feeling that uscis wanna make sure that we are still together as a couple and living on the same roof, as a matter of fact the noticed was sent to our old address but USPS forwarded it to our new address.

Anyone on the same boat? which are victim of slow process?

8/26/09- received 10yr GC

N-400- done
