Have you tried looking/asking in the waivers section? They might know more over there about second petitions and what you need to provide for them.

my ex wife is filipino but i met her in usa i had nothing to do with her comeing here,,i dont see her anymore and i have no idea how to get proof of her status,,i know she is a permanent resi but the gov is not going to give me her personal documents,,not sure where to get evidence...

I would write a letter explaining how you had met your previous wife, and that she was here in the US at the time of your meeting. You would have filed however for her AOS after marriage though? Perhaps just giving them her name at the time would help them track her if they're looking at what her status is. Do you have any older tax returns with her SSN on them? Any paperwork that has her A# on it? If you absolutely have nothing on paper that identifies her, you're not going to be able to produce it. I agree, no Gov't. agency is going to give you any information on her now. So, at best, you can write a letter outlining her status when you met, dates if you can remember them of when you marriage, and what processes if any you went through when you were married to her.
