I'm hoping this is one of those "Yellow" letters I've read about, and I have a good idea what it would be for.

What are the "yellow" letters? I assume that this is still a good sign that the case is moving forward.

I'm hoping this is one of those "Yellow" letters I've read about, and I have a good idea what it would be for.

What are the "yellow" letters? I assume that this is still a good sign that the case is moving forward.

I got biometrics appointment notice on 08/07/2009, and then today on 08/13/2009 I got a following mail which they say they've sent me on 07/30/09 by post. What the hack is this thing?

I got an email, too this evening. WE received my biometrics notice in the mail on 08/10/09 they sent it to us 08/07/09. If USCIS send us this notice on August 5 then we received it together with the biometrics notice. But we didn't receive this one. Well, we don't know... we just wait and see!

We don't know what exacly going on with the USCIS :blink:

I guess as majority of us had got the same creepy mail... its some kind of mistake they are doing but as they must have lost all the contractors on H1B maintaining website, nobody is taking responsibility to FIX it...

Will find out on Monday 17th :)

I also got Preety much same kind of mail on 08/13, i had my Bio Metrics done on 08/12 and i initially thought it could have been an update about it but to my astonishment it said

HELLO GUYS

DONOT WORRY ABOUT THESE MAILS. ADDITIONAL EVIDENCES ARE FINGERPRINTS ETC.I DIS MY FINGERPRINTS ON 7/23 AND TODAY I CALLED USCIS AND THEY TOLD ME THAT MY INTERVIEW IS SCHEDULE FOR NEXT MONTH AND I WILL BE RECIEVING LETTER WITHIN 30 DAYS. SHE DID NOT GIVE ME THE DATE AS THEY CANNOT GIVE THIS INFORMATION ON PHONE .

Make sense, there could be a mismatch between the MesageId and content/Text, so as to say for a event Change what kind of notice needs to be sent..Correct?
