Hi everyone.

I have quick question for these who applied for naturalization based on the marriage to a U.S. citizen,

I just wonder if I have enough documents referring to my spouse. This is my case: married for almost 6 years, 2 kids, GC holder for 3 and half years. We have a checking account, health insurance, auto insurance, credit card and tax returns with both our names on it. My name doesn't appear on a morgage documents or any other bills. Do you think it is enough evidence to proof my marriage?

What documents will you bring to the interview?

You have the correct address listed. You should have received your NOA1 a week or so later and your check would have been cashed around the same time. You can make an infopass appt and have them check their computer to see if it is received. If there is no record of it I would cancel the check and resubmit using FEDEX overnight delivery next time.

my check is still not cashed yet,I called uscis and someone told me call after one month, should I cancel my check and resubmit my N-400? what happen if I cancel my check and resubmit, Will uscis return my first package if they cann't get the money?

Thanks, but if they didn't cash my check, how can they get any records in they system,unless they process the case before the check was cashed?

I would try the infopass first too. I would also wait 45 days before canceling the check. They may have something in their system; maybe you check got lost at the bank... who knows. I would try following their instructions first, especially if you have a delivery confirmation for your application. Canceling the check and re-submitting the application may add to the confusion and delay the processing even longer. They are more likely to treat your case better if you followed their instructions. (That's what happened to me when they lost my CR1 packet somewhere between the airport and USCIS office. I waited the required 3 months before 'bugging' them. They processed my GC fairly fast afterwords and even apologized for the inconvenience.)

Hi, I plan on bringing a lot of pictures, plane tickets from our trips, and some letters/emails from our families to us in addition to the banks statements, car and life insurance, taxes, and apartment lease agreement. We also have a family pass at a gym and a national park annual pass for the last several years with both our names on it. I think that this should be enough, but of course no one will be able to tell for sure until the interview.

Make an appt online for an infopass appt. Select "Case Services follow-up appointment" and ignore the 45 day requirement. I was never asked for the Service Request ID Number when i went to my appt.

Thanks, but if they didn't cash my check, how can they get any records in they system,unless they process the case before the check was cashed?

I would try the infopass first too. I would also wait 45 days before canceling the check. They may have something in their system; maybe you check got lost at the bank... who knows. I would try following their instructions first, especially if you have a delivery confirmation for your application. Canceling the check and re-submitting the application may add to the confusion and delay the processing even longer. They are more likely to treat your case better if you followed their instructions. (That's what happened to me when they lost my CR1 packet somewhere between the airport and USCIS office. I waited the required 3 months before 'bugging' them. They processed my GC fairly fast afterwords and even apologized for the inconvenience.)
