I had interview in Dallas this morning I had to wait about 1 hour 40 minutes before my name got called.

The officer is nice and I passed the interview, but I have to wait my oath ceremony for the next few weeks since my permanent residence has not been reaching 5 years yet.

My 5 years anniversary will be on October 10 so that the officer told me that my oath would have to come after that date :(

We're done with US Immigration forever!! :D Oath ceremony was yesterday in St. Paul, Minnesota.

I have nothing to complain about because the whole N-400 portion of Naturalization went SO QUICKLY.

Keep with it everyone. :thumbs: You'll all be done very soon as well.

I passed!!! well.. passed the test at least - it said that my application has been recommended for approval - so I guess it's not official yet until Oath?

I totally messed up and I forgot the appointment letter! But the nice lady printed me another one. I dont know how I forgot that, after checking and re-checking...

The officer didnt ask for anything else..he was just checking my application. He asked if I have any tickets - and I asked if he meant like speeding ticket and he said yes, so I told him about it.

Then he asked if I support US government and constitution and I said I guess so (which I should said Yes.. but he deosnt seemed to mind)

Then he commented on how good my english is then we started the test... it went well - I got one wrong (always got this one wrong while study too so...) When was the constitution written.. it's 1787 - I said 1785 :blush: I know I'd get this one wrong so :whistle: but I got everything else.

Some how Durham office stopped given the Oath letter after the interview (and he doesnt know why either) so I'll have to wait for the letter in a cupple weeks. but YEYEYEYEYEYE :dance::dance::dance:

All this took about 25 minutes :)

will update on my Oath day later!

Congratulations anya -D, i have a speeding ticket but i have not mentioned about it during my filing , i choose No for that Questions. Now starting to worry if they think i lied :crying: That was one stupid question whch was not asked stright forward, anyways I am glad that your Journey was almost Over. :dance::dance:

Thanks! lol I'm sure the ticket wes fine.. I said No in the application too since it said to only put yes for more major crime, not trafic violation. so dont worry about it :)

I'm waiting patiently for my Oath letter...

I passed the interview it was very easy (took only 15 minutes) and had my oath at 1:30 PM the same place :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: . My hubby and I are so happy that our immigration journey come to an end :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing: . Good bye immigration! :whistle:

Yes, you can't take the oath because you're not eligible before 3 (or 5) years of permanent residence.

Updating my timeline. I had my interview this morning at 6:30 AM in Irving, TX. I passed the interview it was very easy (took only 15 minutes) and had my oath at 1:30 PM the same place :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance: . My hubby and I are so happy that our immigration journey come to an end :dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing::dancing: . Good bye immigration! :whistle:

Is it past 3 years of you having permanent residency? I am 3 days shy on my inreview date.What i heard is They will make you take Oath only after 3 Years pf having PR?
