What does the Online Status of yours Say? Does it say Like youe case has been trsnferd to local office to schedule for a Personal Interview? If yes then No worries/

Hi Alyssa,

Is it possible to go into a little bit more detail on the interview? I will be attending the St.paul office for interview on oct 26th. I hear that there is a change in the questions starting in Oct.

What type of questions did they ask about the paper work through the years?

Can someone please update the list for me? I really messed it up last time.

The new date to add is the oath, 09/28/2009.

Interview Breakdown:

We were there about 15 minutes before the interview and he went in about 15 minutes

past the scheduled time. Although his citizenship is based on our marriage, they never asked

to see me (I was thankful :-)

Otherwise, it was all a very quick process. He passed everything and was done with the interview in

approx. 15 to 20 minutes. He was asked a lot of questions from our paperwork over the years. I think

that's a good way to test if people are honest. Then they asked him to wait in the waiting room for a few minutes.

Then we waited another 30 minutes and they gave him the oath form right

there at the interview. He will be a citizen on Sept. 28th! Very fast.

Good luck to all. I still can't believe that our immigration journey will be over a week from today.

Just called USCIS and they said they mailed out my interview letter today. Interview is on Nov 10 in Manhattan. Also perfectly fitting my (busy) travel schedule. :)

Hello,

They maybe the same questions, but the USCIS is terming this as the "new test", I am not exactly sure how the "new test" is different from the old test.

Taking the Naturalization Test

USCIS began administering a new naturalization test on October 1, 2008. The following guidelines determine whether naturalization applicants take the old test or the new test. An applicant who:

Filed the Form N-400 BEFORE October 1, 2008, and is scheduled for his or her naturalization interview ON or AFTER October 1, 2008 but before October 1, 2009, can choose to take the old test or the new test.

Filed the Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, ON or AFTER October 1, 2008, will take the new test.

Is scheduled for his or her naturalization interview ON or AFTER October 1, 2009, regardless of when he or she filed the Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, will take the new test.

Any interview after Oct 1st will have to take the new test.

Oh I see What you ae saying, The Old Test is Out Of Question for Us(I mean for July/Aug Filers), so just sticking to those 100 Questions given in The BOOK during the Time of Bio Metrics.
