MrPuffyBunny-Lol....I haven't sent it in yet....."Just planning in advance", in anticipation of sending it in on 08/18/09, if all goes well there......Would rather post my N-400 timeline earlier than later....As for actually sending it in on that date as stated on the list...that is perhaps...."subject to change"......

Bilson4real-Lol...not much running around here (other than to the hospital very soon for labour)....but yeah, would like to post here while I'm waiting to send the N-400 in August....Hmmm...Is running (more like duck waddling-like walking) ahead a good idea?

Interesting question that you ask about the trips...It looks confusing on the N-400 forms, indeed!

It says to list US addresses and International trips in the last 5 years. But as well all know, if we are filing on basis of marriage to a USC, we haven't been in the USA in the last 5 years (we've only been here for 3 years, more or less).

Hmmmm...I'm not sure how to approach this either!... :wacko: Definitely an inconsistency with the USCIS here in terms of filing on 5 years vs 3 years!

Any other suggestions and/or ideas as to how to answer these questions?

Hi Ant,

I read on the instruction on the Guide and somewhere it said to cross out the Five and replace with Three, that's what I did. But yesterday someone posted a topic "Is this a Joke" and someone said she wouldnt remember all 5 years trip and nobody seems to say that it's only 3 years.. so it got me panic!!! Some people said to use 5 years.. but it wont make any sense.. you know..since you will be out of the US for about 1-2 years!

I'll go dig out what I found...

K-1 = 4 months
