call the # you are currently calling but use the option "if you beleive there is a problem with your case" or "change of address" both of these will get you to a CSR

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Yeah, but they never tell you anything. They cant even tell you if your case is being worked on. I sent my packet on the 17th of March, they received it on the 25th and sent out NOA1 on the 31st. Now it is July 11th and still no NOA2. So I called and asked when to expect it and they said "Well, we expect maybe between 90 and 106 more days". How they hell can they be so specific (106) days? Weird. So, the guy was like "You mailed your i-129f kinda late" and I was like "Yeah, I was under the impression I had to have form I-797 before I could mail the I-129f with the I-130." So, the guy was like, "You're looking at about October before you would get your NOA2" at first, the guy didn't even know what the hell an NOA2 was. He was like "You already got your notice of action." and I said "I got the first one." He was like "Well, ma'am, it may be another 90 days or so before you hear anything. You need to wait for the alotted time." and I was like "Your website changed the projected wait time from 6 months to 5 months. So that means that it should be within the next month, right?" and he said "Thats just an estimate. If they knew the exact date, they would post it."

Sometimes, they are so frustrating.

Wow so frustrating to hear everyone going through the same thing I have. This government can not run a business, that's for sure!!!

I called USCIS twice yesterday in desperate need of help for what should have been a simple question. When I finally got through to a human by pressing all kinds of buttons that didn't pertain to me, I spoke with two different women that were completely useless. I felt like I was banging my head against a wall trying to ask them my question. I wish I had the conversations recorded because it was quite comical... only I wasn't laughing. At the end of my second conversation the woman suggested I find a lawyer!! I couldn't believe USCIS was suggesting I find a lawyer!! My question was really quite simple, or at least i should have been for them.

They could train a chimp(If a chimp could talk) to do what the uscis cust service operators do, if it's not on the operators script they will become incapacitated. I had one that actually did not know if all forms on the G-325A form needed to be submitted. Like any other useless customer center call center, if these ppl do give you any advice ask them for their operator ID # (although they blurt it out super fast when they first answer) and make sure you hold them accountable for any information given to you.
