Here in Egypt, we will start our fast after suhoor on Saturday morning insha'Allah.

I guess it *should* be the same for the rest of MENA, but you never know.

Not sure about the US but I think they are starting Saturday morning as well.

It will be nice to have everyone on the same schedule for once instead of starting on different days. :)

Ramdan kareem to all my sisters and brothers. :star:

**edit - there's a nice link on the previous page that I posted but this post started a new page. Go take a look :P

just wishing everyone a happy ramadan.

I have been fasting for about 10 years now and i can't wait for this year. one tip i can give people is to break the fast with dates/salt and water (or anything that has some salt and a bit of sugar and water). Walk away (do your prayer) and let that sugar give your body an energy boost. come back to eat the big dinner in a few minutes. this has helped me avoid eating very large dinners especially after a being hungry for so long.

Ladies, I'm wishing you and your families an awesome Ramadan. I hope it's wonderful for everyone. I'm with you all in spirit. Maybe I'll even try fasting here and there with you all.

Lots of love, Staashi (L)

until obama stops sanctioning the murder of muslims in af-pak and elsewhere, i've no use whatsoever for his ramadan kareem. i have no idea why muslims keep on posting this all over. it's quite demeaning in light of the circumstances.
