DS156 QUESTION

I am completing the forms for my fiancee´s interview, and I have a question about from ds156. On line 36 it asks if anyone has filed an immigrant visa petition on your behalf. On the example forms it is marked as no. However, since I filed the I129F wouldn´t that count as filing an immigrant visa petition? So is the answer yes or no? Thanks for your help. We are still waiting for NOA2 but just getting everything ready for the interview.

But isn't the K-1 a non-immigrant visa? In any event, the answer is no if the current petition is the first one filed for the beneficiary.

Thank you for your responses. I thought that was correct, but with so much run around I have started to question everything. Is the answer the same for the affidavit of support? The example form here shows the current finacee´s name under having filed a petition.

The I-134, Question 10 states "I have submitted a visa petition on behalf of the following person". So you would list the beneficiary on the visa petition you filed.
