Hello group. i was just curious if my K-1 application for my fiance will be affected since i was married to a foreigner years ago. She go her 10 year green card and everything but we got divorced. Will i still be allowed to marry another foreigner again?? Gosh i sure hope so!!! Anyways hope someone out there knows. Thanks again, Ski :help:

That will not be a problem with approval of the K1,,, Only if you are filing your 3rd K-1 or had a K-1 approved in the past two years would

this pose a problem.

They normally look for patterns of fraud. If there is no indication of fraud, Then you should be fine.

It was not a problem for me. My ex was not from the same part of the world as my current spouse. And my ex did not come on a K visa.

We did have to supply proof of my ex wife's current address for the interview. If that may be a problem for you, PM me and I will give you the background on how I solved that problem.
