Umit went for her visa tis morning, 0830.

They made her wait for 90 mins before doing the interview, then she was called into the interview room.

Woman CO, Umit started to speak Turkish, but the woman asked if they could speak in English, which Umit switched over to.

Questions asked:

1. How did you meet?

2. How did you get engaged?

3. Petitioners work and age?

4. How many times have we met in person?

5. When will beneficiary go to America?

Then the woman looked at our chat logs (MSN), pictures, and petitioners passport copies (all pages :)) - and said, "congratulations, you will be getting your visa in 3-5 days" (they send them UPS)

Interview was about 30 mins. No AP (I didn't expect any since Umit has a 10 year visitors visa and she is a woman).

Thanks to this site, had all my ducks in a row - no issues at all with the paperwork (RFE) or any other time wasting issues !

Now on to the travel to the US and marriage...

CONGRATULATIONS Bobby and Umit !!!! I'm so very happy for you both!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
