Hey everyone,

Just found out I was offered a job in Egypt! Can you believe after 4 months, they finally made the decision and offered me the position! It's at a law firm, not far from our apartment in downtown Cairo. I applied because my son and I were planning on moving to Egypt in June of this year. I figured I would get a part-time job so I wouldn't have to sit around the house all day waiting for Ahmed and Tariq to get home from work and school.

After going back and forth, my husband and I decided it would be best for Tariq's schooling that we stay here in the U.S. Not to mentioned that I started the immigration process here now. Argh!!!

I am so frustrated. I want to be with Ahmed so much, but we made the decision for our family to stay here, until he get's here to the U.S. I called Ahmed immediately after finding out that I got the position and he told me "do as you wish." I already know I will stay here in the U.S. I wish they had offered me this job back in April, when they SAID they would make the decision.

Anyhow, why do things always work that way?? Well Allahu 3laam...God knows best. I trust in that.

I just needed to vent....thanks for listening.

Iim sure things will work out the way God intends them to. I guess I will say CONGRATULATIONS, even though the timing is a bit off in your circumstances.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Congratulations on your job offer but sad to see you won't accept it! I can understand your dilemma and like the others wish the job had come to you sooner. I myself would think what a chance to work and live fulltime in Egypt. But again sweetie, I do understand your situation.

Best of luck!
