Ok so I went out to Chinese food though the Indian food was tempting me the call of A/C at the Chinese food place won me over. The Indian food place didn't have a/c and our a/c has a fried component so I've been waiting for Waleed to get back for it to be fixed. I'm not to be alone with other men in the apartment.

And of course the door man and all the door men of the neighborhood and the laundry men were outside my apartment building waiting for me to get back home. I have a suspicion the laundry man told on me because he saw me leaving and watched me the whole way. The doormen were no where to be found when I left but they were all there when I got back and I had no idea what they were saying when I went up the stairs but they all started chattering like gossip girls as soon as I was inside the building. Now they are all being quiet so the excitement for the day is over.

Back to sweating here in my apartment.

The Chinese food was their version of Chinese food. I went for chicken sheshwan and it was bread chicken with some sauce I never tasted before kinda like a mix of black pepper and hot and sour soup. I don't know but it's not the stuff I'm used to back home. The place was nice and the display of the food was nice just the way they make things and the taste of the food was different.

The place was empty except for a small asian guy who entered there dressed as a Saudi. He sat down to eat but then got up and left before being served. Not sure what changed but he spoke fluent Arabic. Maybe he was a spy? And maybe not they all shook hands like they seemed to know him.

I don't know if I have fans but I do know that I walked the entire strip this time forgetting where the Chinese food place was and I only got one guy trying to talk to me this time. I think the rest know to leave me alone now and I'm a familiar face.

We have a fan in the living room and a fan in the bed room but it just circulates the hot air. During the day it's in 90's to 100's and at night it's in the high 80's to 90's so it's hot for me all the time. I take several showers and lay under the fan which keeps me semi-cooled down for all of 5 to 10 minutes. Even the water won't get cold it's more like room temperature.

Oh and the breeze has been blowing lately so that is nice to get some fresh air at times.

Happy Hump day to all!

I am at work wishing i could eat Indian food love it or even Chinese but that will be in about 6 or 8 months hopefully. I did go to the DR yesterday and have lost 22 lbs in one month and all my lab work was great. Still hard to eat too much but they say that will change and I can now eat 2-5 oz of meat but I can't seem to get that much in yet. Oh well I am not hungry so I guess it is good. My goal is to be 125 the dr said 135 so we will see. She said that I would still be healthy at 125 so that is what I am trying for. 5 more months I should be some where around that weight.

Anyone know how long food is good in a freezer/refridge once the power goes out? We haven't had electricity since 1am and I'm at work so I will just have to assume when I get home around 8ish that it's been out since then.

Hi all

I made it safe and sound to Morocco after a few delays. My family was not there to greet me apparently because of a flat tire...luckily a few very nice people lent me their cell phones to investigate the matter...I was annoyed cuz I waited so long with all those men staring at me, but in the end, they came and all was forgiven. Anyway it is freaking HOT....do I am feeling ur pain for all of u over in this region! Lovin being with my honey............do its all good!!!!! Take care I will post pics in the next few days.

God Bless

Wouldn't that be West Africa? East Africa would be on the beach of maybe Somalia.

I couldn't figure out where my husband was the first time I went there. Took me ten minutes to get someone to show me how to dial his number without all of the extra 0's and 1's, etc. Finally I called and he said he was outside because they don't let visitors inside except for the limo drivers so I told him he had exactly 3 minutes to show me where he was or I was turning around and going back to Boston and I meant it!!!! He jumped up and down so I could see him through the windows. lol What an awful feeling though being in a strange (to you) country where you don't know the language and don't know anyone. I'll never forget that!!!!
