Biometrics only done for AOS eventhough EAD applied

Are there usually two different appointments for Biometrics for EAD and AOS? I have just booked my InfoPass appointment for my interim EAD as it has been over 90 days and my EAD has not been touched since after my biometrics appointment and when I looked at my notice (after reading responses yesterday - thank you) I saw that it only stated my I-485 receipt number...could this be why my EAD has not been approved but my AP and AOS have moved forward?

Any help is appreciated!

AOS biometrics is 10 fingers, a picture and signature. EAD biometrics is one finger, a picture and a signature. They can be done at the same appointment or separate ones.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Did you bring both of your NOA's to the biometrics appointment. They can use the same picture and fingerprints for both, but they need to scan the NOA's to be able to link the collected biometrics with the case numbers. If not, then you'll have to go again...

I did bring both...but they gave me back my NOA for my I-765...said they didn't need it. I am pretty sure this is what is holding up my EAD. My InfoPass appointment is on the 21st of this month and that will be almost 120 days since I applied so hopefully we can get this done and figured out. My AOS interview is August 18th so hopefully I will have this all taken care of before then!

Thanks for your help...this whole process can be so overwhelming at times!
