Is anyone else as fed up as I am about Jackson this, Jackson that?

Everywhere you look, there really has been no avoiding it unless you lock yourself up, no internet, no radio, newspapers or TV......It's really OTT. Especially when Farrah fought so hard against her illness and tried to be an honest inspiration throughout her treatment and got hardly any coverage...I mean I know he revolutionalized the dance/pop scene-but what else did he do? Think of the good things he could have accomplished and the positive difference he really could have been, especially how successful he was and how wealthy he was. He seemed to be on self destruct- and I apologize to MJ fans for this -but honestly he gets little respect from me because he destroyed his own image and abused his body, left a taudry trail of suspicion concerning pedophilia and then threw away his life.

I'm sick of it because it's waaaaaaaaay out of proportion to anything else that matters in life. Also, like most things that have to do with the media and entertainment, it's become very commercial. About 30 years ago, newscaster Ted Koppel said, "The media doesn't tell you what to think, but they tell you what to think about". I think they even tell many what to think these days. There's an elite that decides what's important to them, then imposes it on everyone else. Some fall for whatever is pushed out as important, and all too few seem to be able to decide that for themselves.

I'm glad someone said it.It's as if he gained sainthood all of a sudden.All these people who swear up and down he was not a molestor are just as messed up as he was.I doubt if they would let him babysit either !

July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE

Heck Farrah slept with her husband at the time (Lee Majors) bestfriend and then later married him. I was thinking that Farrah was trying to have a come back in a movie carrer that was washed up after Charlie Angels. I remember her on the David Letterman show. She was so spaced out on who knows what that she couldn't even complete a sentence. There is a such thing as changing the channel if you don't want to watch news coverage. Why does people think that difference = strange.

The guy was a big philanthropist and ended up heavily in debt so what else was he supposed to do?

The fame screwed him up and as does to a lot of former child stars but he managed to do a lot in his field of entertainment.

The coverage will trail off as the world moves on and as everyone continues to ###### about overcoverage of some star.

I have doubts that he was a molester and I am not nearly as messed up as he was. And those that knew him best say it wasn't true.
