If your girl is at the bottom of the Philippines, does that mean she has to go to Manila for the medical exam and then back up Manila for the interview and then Back up to Manila to pick up the visa and package?

How does that work.

Yes, unless there's another US consulate in the Philippines that handles visas. Since the consular section at the US Embassy in Manila is the second largest in the world, I'm pretty sure it's the only one in the Philippines that handles visas.

She can go to Manila and go back home. You should have stay with family if she have in Manila or have her spend time in hotel .The embassy will mail the package to her.If she have a postal ID and the embassy have her address. She get her visa in bout 5 to 7 days. So,there be no need to make 2 trips to Manila.Plane tickets cheap so should be no problem.

sad to say, yes, she needs to go to the US Embassy in Manila, wether she lives in any part of the Philippines. To save you some bucks, if she had relative in the manila, she can stay there until the medical and interview is over, or theres a lot of affordable motel that she can stay while waiting for interview, instead of spending a lot of money going back and forth. Usually the days for medical falls on friday, and the interview at the embassy will be on the next friday. She should stay near the embassy just to save time and money.

yes she does...in my case me and my hubby went to manila for medical then went in manila again for interview but that time i was alone and only stayed in the hotel for one night...thats it.

and since i lived in davao i had my seminar in cebu...so it was also fun for me because i was able to go to different places before i went here in usa...

Thanks for the answers, normally I wouldn't care about the cost of anything, but since I just did all of this and spent about $10,000 and then lost my girl, now I need to be careful, try to save if I can. Now I am worried, what if the next girl changes her mind at the last minute. I just can't believe that happened, did all the immigration stuff, got the plane ticket, everything arranged, all ready to fly here and then changes her mind. Weird, one day it's total love for me, and the next I am nobody.

Also keep in mind that if you go to the seminar before the interview you will have to go back after the interview to get the stamp on the visa.

You have to take a chance on this next girl you found. Who knows? Maybe she won't get cold feet this time and you'll get lucky, you know, once bitten twice shy makes you wary the third time. It doesn't hurt to be careful. Doesn't matter if she lives in the middle of nowhere. The US embassy is in Roxas Blvd, Manila. She needs to show up there for her visa interview appointment.

Rocky: "Baby, are they still mad at us on VJ?"

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."

If mine does that to me, I think I would get a job over there and pack it all up and go! Easier to do that than get into a another LDR. :(
