I really don't know, but have you thought about checking with the UK Embassy in Bosnia, or Bosnian Embassy in London?

Good luck!

First Off: I don’t know the exact answer about BOSNIA to this but can offer our experience just this past spring '09

My Fiancée is from Uzbekistan and received her Master Degree from a Turkish University - and she was in Turkey for ten months. The US Embassy in Tashkent ' insisted ' on a Turkish Police Certificate. I actually was in Tashkent for her Interview and went to the US Embassy to ask “How do we get this TPC?” They did not have a good answer but did refer us to that same State Department Reciprocal LINK as well as suggested going to the Turkish Embassy in Tashkent.

We both Petitioned the Turkish Embassy in Tashkent and sent a letter VIA DHL direct to Ankara, Turkey with return paid.

The Turkish Embassy in Tashkent did NOT seem to know what they were doing, asking for allot of information that made no-sense and to date, since 05 May 09, they have not produced the TPC

The Turkish Ministry of Justice in Ankara, informed us, via e-mail that we either had to come to Turkey “in person” or “go to the local Embassy”

.... after waiting 8 weeks, we ended up sending my Fiancée to Ankara to get the ' freakin ' TPC, again because the Turkish Embassy in Tashkent was clueless .... I also both went back to the US Embassy in Tashkent again telling them that the Turkish Embassy in Tashkent was clueless - they did not care, I also wrote a detailed summary of all our efforts to get the TPC to the USET asking for a waiver and they still did not care ... that’s when we went to Turkey. a very expensive piece of paper !!

I hope you have better luck with the BOSNIA Embassy in England. It is my feeling that that US State Department LINK and reciprocal-ness is for US Citizens not FORIEGN Nationals.

Again, Best of Luck to You !!

Charles

Have your husband contact a local person that used to work with him in Bosnia. Then, if that person wants to help, have your husband send the required documents and letter of representation to the person in Bosnia.

He needs two documents - one is from the court saying there are no charges against him currently at the court and the second one is from the police saying their records show he was never in prison in Bosnia. Court document is around 8KM and the police certificate is 35 KM.

I sent you the link already.

Other than this way, he could catch a plane and go to Bosnia. No other way, Bosnian consulates do not get you these documents.
