ME/NA yahoo group?

I have had a support group on yahoo since November 04, Supporting Moroccan Love, established before I found VJ. Now that I have been told of what happened here I wonder if even my group is safe. You really never know who anyone is. Like life, you can only trust what you are told, unless you know someone personally. I do enjoy other groups on yahoo and I am sure I would enjoy one from this forum. It does make sense and would be much more comfortable. My group is women only but my opinion is if this is going to grow from this forum, it would be nice to include the men too, since they are also a good part here. Just my two cents worth.

Keeping the men out makes no sense to me. Is the group about gender? They're in this with the women, and for most of you, there would be no ME without them.

Have you received the invite I sent out? If you click on "join the group," it should allow you to to access the yahoo group page. Under polls, it's the second one.

I joined the yahoo group yesterday thinking it was women only. It was wrong of me to assume that it was. I will hold off posting anything there until the gender issue is decided upon. If there are men there, I couldn't post pics or comment on anything personal.

i have to agree jackie, altho, i feel a little wishy washy abt it - there are some aspects that would be nice to have the men around, but mostly i would feel more secure as an all female group - if we're gonna truly "let our hair down" and be able to talk abt personal things.

Thanks for saying why you wouldn't want men there. I didn't understand before. I think it's important that the ladies have somewhere to gather, so if some are uncomfortable, I think the men would understand why they were excluded. I'll vote ladies only.
