you didn't get any text from air 21 or the Embassy?

can someone shed some light to my situation, my cousin had an interview in June 09 and he was missing his cenomar which we past along to the embassy after a week. nvc did not request cenomar for his interview. until now we haven't heard anything from them. How long does it normally take to get a visa as such situation occured

I have waited a month because I don't have the CENOMAR, just hang in there.

My fiance just finished her interview today 9/24/09 and we too are in AR, very similar white sheet no documents needed checked just wait for additional contact, but she was not told the she passed interview. Air 21 tracking number issued but no explanation of AR. So my question is could this be only document varification or did she fail, I would assume if she failed the interview she would be told after the interview....Please inlighten me

me too. yesterday.. they gave me this white paper.. they check the wait for blah blah.. but they didnt check what document is needed. no check marks on those.. and the consul didnt tell me if i pass or failed the interview.. so im also clueless now.. and feels like my dream are all ruined. same question that i have now joe.

This entire AR thing is one of my worst nightmare! And no matter how hard I try to eat and sleep , I couldn't. It's turning me to a sad one and always injects negative thoughts since day one of this thing. I just wish it won't ruin what my fiance and I built. And waiting sucks too! I just wish they did tell me why my case put on an AR.

7 weeks sounds too long. I had an administrative review but only for a month. I will be crazy thinking what's taking so long. I hope you get your visa soon

You said you were in AP as well.. what's the reason why your case was put on an AR?

hello everyone,

I had interview on Dec. 14, 2009. the consul told me that everything is fine except my NBI. In the end of my interview the consul said " Enjoy living in Hawaii!" so I believe its a possitive sign for me. after my interview I was called to window 37 and gave me the white slip with check on the NBI which I need to provide. and returned my passport. At first, I felt sad because I thought I brought everything that they need but i'm wrong. and sad because me and my fiance planned to be together this new year.(we are still hoping though) I know that God Has a plan why it happened to us. Im not really down for that. I believe I'm going to get the visa soon. Guys, I think not everyone who get back the passport means denied. for my case, they gave it back to me for me to get the NBI. Be possitive and patient if you're in the same situation, everythings gonna be okay. Plus, Dont forget to ask help from God. anyway, On Dec. 16 I past the NBI and told me to wait until they send the visa.

i got interview april 23 embassy told me im approved then told just wait my visa in 14days then 17days i wait us embassy email i need return again in us embassy for finger scanning then i go may 14 then told me need process tht just wait delivery my visa in home.but make me wonder why take so long already 37days now..im worry so much mabye im denied pls give me idea

Did they give you reason why you need to go back for finger scanning, any other documents they ask from you after the interview?

If they told you were you approved, I wouldn't worry too much. Sometimes it takes them a bit of time to do last minute organization of the paperwork etc. But certainly call them as ask. If they told you 14 days, then 37 days is too long.

Start calling them to ask where your visa is.
